Low visibility: still seeing mountains in the distance

Featured Replies

I noticed that with low(er) visibility (weather) I keep on seeing the silhouettes of mountains in the distance. This doesn't look realistic to me and it spoils the immersion a little. With lower visibility I shouldn't be seeing anything at all in the distance but somehow the line between the sky and the ground is always visible. I suppose there is nothing I can do about this?

Is this with Volumetric Fog?... I see solid white silhouettes of distant landscape when flying in low vis conditions using VF, and agree it spoils things somewhat. I have not tried without VF but assume it will act in the same way as FSX.

With or without Vfog i see distant mountains as grey objects BUT with some detail. Max draw distance. KHQM.

This spoils the great realistic weather Prepar 3D has.

I hope gets fixed some day.
