  1. Regarding the flight model (real pilot) I can clearly rmember after my first flight lesson landing thinking how terrible was the landing modeled in FSX compared to the real thing, I was very dissapointed at FSX. Just tried X Plane Aerofly and Prepar 3D Same airport and the 172 SP Its about being immersive. For an unfinished prduct its pretty good I will put Aerofly just a bit below A2A 172 for Prepar 3D which I think its real good, and X Plane 10 third place. So it has a great future I think.
  2. Rob agreed and I just will add to visuals, Flight Model and smooth performance.
  3. Everyone wanted a next gen flightsim. Its here its the start and only $50. Is it finished? Not, but a good start. I dont want to keep flying an old tech sim for 20 years, let the new one come alive! Stop complaining , pay the $50 and see what the future will be like, no one is going to starve by spending $50. Aerofly 2 has my support , feeling of flight is real good , which is important (real pilot here).
  4. What makes more sense is for them to concentrate to develop all the systems on airplanes before making more planes (warbirds are nice but there are combat simulators with them and pretty good ones,GA or airliners are what most people look for in these sims)
  5. It asks for a beta access code, how do I get the code?
  6. I have been flight simming for years, I change a graphics card every 2 or 3 years and always ask the question in forums, will upgrading to the latest (in this case 1080) from my current (780 in this case) make a difference? Always get the same reply, no it wont, wait for the next generation card , what that does is slow me down from buying the card inmediatelly , then like a month or so later I go buy it, install it and every single time I have been happy with the results. At this stage Im in the month of thinking about it.
  7. Overclocked my GTX 780 , Prepar 3D ran smoother and higher FPS. Checked and GPU usage was at 100%. In this case a GTX 1080 should benefit?
  8. I checked GPU and CPU usage % GPU is about 80% use CPU about 75% So will upgrading the card from the 780 to 1080 make a difference? Running at 1920 x 1080
  9. Single monitor best possible settings (want eye candy and FPS) 1920 x 1080
  10. Thinking of upgrading from my GTX 780. Anyone with a 1080, how is the performance?
  11. Thank you. Content , client or scenery? Which one should I ran repair?
  12. No clouds are displayed ,no matter what weather, AS 16 on or off. Re installed Soft clouds delete shaders folders. Deleted weather and default files under program data. Any help appreciated. Thanks
  13. I started to play WarThunder a WWII sim last week. Great terrain, and airplane graphics, what it is impressive is that FPS are in the 100s , not a single tiny hicup, lots of planes, smoke and combat and with every graphic option maxed out. Flight Dynamics are good too. Just got me thinking I wish Prepar 3D run at 100fps.
  14. Installed fine , everything works fine except terrain.
  15. If I buy now do I need to install the update or the product comes Prepar 3D V3 ready? Im interested in the Garmin 430 and 530
  16. Hello downloaded it but there is no instructions. Where do i install those .bgl files?
  17. I tried with the MikViz Garmin 430 and it doesnt have the R NAV approaches. Can you do R NAV approaches in prepar 3D with the F 1 GTN 750, 650 or the Mindstar 430 and 5530?
  18. It would be a success , many pilots are wanting it. Better than ther Garmin 430 and 530 and easier and better than the 650 and 750 Garmins.
