Featured Replies

Getting a little better at flying the Twin Otter.

Some of the usual suspects, Orbx PNW, Vector - REX 4 Textures - FSGRW - Aerosoft Twin Otter Extended.

Video available at 1440p HD.

Cheers, Rob.

P3D V2.1 is really coming together. So nice and smooth. Great video.

We just need more addons to be supported

Thank you sir.

Yeah, I don't think we have any aircraft yet that has been "designed for" P3DV2.x ... most are just made compatible with.  I'm not even sure the Twin Otter was re-worked to be compatible, but it seems to work reasonably well "as is".

It'll take some commitment from 3rd party developers because a P3DV2.x product (i.e. designed for P3DV2.x) will not be backwards compatible with FSX so they'll have to decide on "compatible" vs. "designed for" ... one obviously takes more time, money, and resources to produce.

What I'm most waiting for is multi-GPU utilization -- combine that with products actually designed for P3DV2.x and we should be seeing some really impressive video in the near future.

Cheers, Rob.
