Avidyne display

Featured Replies

I have the RXP430W and I want to know how to crossfill the flight plan from the 430 to the Avidyne MFD display is there a way I can do this?

Take a look at the following thread, and particularly the message by TTOCS.  But read the entire message thread.  I think that will get you going.  I believe you do need to have the RXP release that provided the link capability.  It was obviously out prior to the thread you are about to read.  Also, you must edit the LinkGPS line into the rxpgns.ini file for each aircraft you want to link.  Obviously there is no need to link in aircraft that do not have appropriate avionics.

I've also done it to the A2A 172 for the Map and GNS530

Did you page back and forth on the Avidyne in the C90 using the Avidyne's lower left knob?  If you load or configure a flight plan in the RXP 430 and activate it, as I am sure you already have done, you will see the flight plan track on the Avidyne's map display.  You can also page the Avidyne to another page that shows the flight plan listing, waypoint by waypoint, and shows the ETE and ETA for each point on the plan.  Really cool.
