iPhone vs NGX and ILS

Featured Replies

So...

Yesterday going through AppStore I found interesting app called b737 iHandbook. Did anyone try it? Seems a bit expensive but on the other hand if it covers all checklists with pictures it may be a great thing to expand knowledge about the cockpit of my NGX. Also saw it features comment why particular button or switch should be touched or not in different phase of flight. Could anyone recommend it?

Second question - does anyone know an iPhone app which features ils frequencies for default fsx airports? My NGX and AXE have current airac cycle so sometimes ils freq are different. I am under windows 8 so external app is not an option (cannot minimize sim because of joystick loss). I was using FSXdb.com but I wonder if there is app which can do this. I found freeware one which features runway lengths and this is a good start for programming fmc and it also features radio frequencies but still can't find one with ils. Any hints?

Thanks!
