On Facebook someone stated that sounds can differ a lot in different models also depending on age of aircraft. I guess one button will not sound the same after few years but fuel pump sounds are different a LOT

LHSimulations LHBP stuttering issue
I own this scenery and the reason of stutters is complex airport mixed with huge city of Budapest next to it. If you turn traffic on you will get stutters. If you use vector turn off tertiary roads completely and traffic on secondary roads and check for result. Was much better in my case when kept traffic on 7%

MT 6.0a doesn't show up in the sim...
Please ignore. I found a way to make it work by manually editing simobjects files. I have to admit my 6.0a has the most useless manual I've ever seen (installer itself doesn't do its job either). Bad joke for this price.

Hi It's a huge let down. I purchased addon for over 30 EUR just to find out that following manual line by line equals only default traffic visible in P3D 3.35. Please tell me I didn't just throw away my money. Does anyone have any clue what might be wrong? MyTraffic entries are added both to simobjects and to scenery library. What am I doing wrong?

Experiencing higher VAS than FSX...?
What size of Rex textures you use? I just left quite heavy add on scenery (Moscow) in my NGX with high settings and didn't get over 2 gig. I use REX for runways (4096) and ASCA for clouds (2048 DXT5) No road traffic and building autogen density on dense. Most of shadows on most of reflections off. My tests show that vegetation is not bringing more vas. Buildings and 32 bit textures are. Also airline traffic in big airports...

Considering the switch to P3D from FSX SE (with DX10 fixer)
If he has asn for fsx he also gets a discount for as16 for p3d. Discount is cross platform. I'm few days after making the change and honestly - it was a good decision. P3d is a completely different animal when it comes to settings management (for me best set up of fps is 30 locked externally and unlimited internally which is something that didn't work in my case in FSX - just an example). Terrain is more realistic thanks to cloud shadows. Vas management way better. All of eye candy stuff is fantastic. Full recommendation although prepare for lot of tweaking (fortunately in settings not cfg) to find best and consistent fps.

Hi I'm testing my new P3D sim and I am really amazed by its quality. There is one thing which bothers me and this is jagged edges of shadows in cockpit of Carenado Bonanza (default). Is this normal? Sim AA setting seem to not affect it at all and 4x SGSAA is not bringing any improvement either.

Hahaha no she does not. She has a brother but that might not be your treat Yep she did. I was talking a lot about it and she knows that flight simming is my passion and its like a drug but without bad consequences. So she really supports it and that's why I love her! (sometimes she flies the CESSNA 172 with me crossing fingers that I land properly )

Upgrading from FSX dx10 to P3D V3 ?
I'm in the same spot as you are and also did a quick cost summary. Cool thing is anything which is ORBX can be transferred for free. Main cost drivers are: 1. sim itself 2. AS16 (thanks god ASCA is compatible) - upgrade price from ASN is over 40 bucks 3. A2A/PMDG Aircrafts (I own 172, Commanche & NGX but decided that if I will convert then I will take only 172 with me for now and purchase NGX later this year, you don't need to have it all at once) Still hesitating though. My FSX with DX10 fixer is a stable and solid platform, generating 30 FPS in almost all scenarios, I don't remember falling below 20 with NGX even in complex addon airports. Visual part is somewhat debatable, I like FSX colors more, but I'm also not a fan of HDR. In my case I have 4,5 GHz I5 3570K and GTX 970 heavily overclocked so I won't have hardware issue. Still budget is budget and I haven't made a decision yet.

FS Labs A320 FSX release set for 18 Aug
I was on the edge thinking if I should switch to P3D but now I am seriously confused - Level of detail is unbelievable on this machine. Hope SDK will be released so fs2crew can be programmed (I simply don't fly "alone" as it's killing immerssion).

Running Tandem - FSX:SE & P3Dv3 - Experiences?
Not that I want to change your mind but did you consider FSX SE with Dx 10 scenery fixer? It's quality is not much worse than p3dv3 (and I like colour pallette more, it's less game'ish) and it remains compatible with loads of freeware and payware addons. When you use it with as16 and asca i cant see major differences vs p3d although the latter has amazing cloud shadows on ground and hdr. It also has no vas issues. Im considering full switch to p3dv3 next year but it's only because I fly 3 aircrafts and all are compatible with it. I also have lot of pay ware airports with full compatibility so freeware is not a must in my case. But I'm still hesitating tbh since my fsx-se with dx10 is well optimized and looks great.

VOR/DME - lateral guidance?
This is exactly the error I did yesterday. It's funny never had such issues with Cessna or Commanche but 737 is really overwhelming and you forget the basics. I'm off now to get to cockpit and fly this leg again. Thanks for your help!

VOR/DME - lateral guidance?
Finally got updated charts. The old ones were showing different information. I'm going to repeat the flight today but for sake of completeness I should: 1. Get to the Kavala vor and fly 68 radial from it 2. When I'm slightly above 10 nm away I should make left turn using hdg select 3. When turning I should set course to 233 and press vor loc and when it intercepts 10 nm from VOR I should set v/s to -790 considering my approach speed is 150 kts. Is that all correct or I'm misunderstanding something? Thanks!

VOR/DME - lateral guidance?
Hi I am highly confused by behavior of my NGX. (read: must be pilot error ) I tried the LGKV approach today to runway 23L using VOR/DME approach. I passed 108.8 VOR using LNAV/VNAV and changed to hdg mode and entered 068 degrees course. After 10 nm from the airport I did left turn turning to 232 degrees. In the same time I set course to 232 to intercept 108.8 VOR from this course and pressed VOR/LOC button. Green light was on but aircraft did not capture right course (two lights were green: both under heading and vor/loc). I was still flying 232 as set on heading but with offset from VOR and not tracking the 232 radial to it. What am I doing wrong here?

I do have a feeling that if there is anything I can improve in my 737 ngx it is probably the pilot. IMHO nothing to improve in product itself (minor bugs maybe but definitely not sounds)

I didn't know this discussion will go such way... sorry for that guys. What I know is, when I asked the question I focused on developing immersion of my pmdg product because I will not change it to anything else anyway so improvements with extra add ons is all I can do to make the sim deeper.

Proatc x that is I guess and until that time I stick to take off clearance and no communication until after land taxi
