March 19, 201412 yr Many of the roads in urban ORBX areas go through houses and buildings. Is there a fix for that or just the way it is?
March 19, 201412 yr That is due to the way that FSX renders terrain. Mesh is the bottom layer, landclass is layered on top of that, with textures and autogen being layered onto the landclass as designated by the landclass type, then vector scenery such as roads, streams and hand-placed scenery items make up the top layer. It's not exclusive to Orbx; it's just the way that the world is rendered in FSX. The only way to avoid this is to hand place all scenery, which is why you don't see it happen in some scenery packages or other examples such as Orbx's airports that have the surrounding area rendered in photoreal with hand placed buildings, trees or other scenery items.
