March 23, 201412 yr Commercial Member Hi All, I just purchased the DX10 fixer and installed everything by the book . DX9 was actually running very well, I changed because of some texture flashing due to water settings & and all the rave reviews about DX10. Here is my problem - If I try to undock the PMDG 777 FMC/EICAS radio panel & MCP to my second screen FSX now goes down to 9 FPS from 30! Also nothing is clickable on the second screen. DX9 frames remain at 30fps in the same situation. Is something wrong with my setup or is this a DX10 limitation? Complete waste of time and money if it is a limitation. Does anyone else run a multi screen home cockpit setup with DX10? Cheers Rob Prest
March 23, 201412 yr Author Commercial Member I fixed it myself, disable inspectors frame rate limiter.... Having another another issue with the VC appearing stretched in fullscreen with DX10. Will continue fighting until I resolve everything. DX10 looks stunning! Rob Prest
March 23, 201412 yr Commercial Member There are a couple of threads on here relating to dual monitor setups which may be of interest. I only have one monitor & its FSX/DX10 itself rather than anything with what DX10SF so not that much to offer. http://forum.avsim.net/topic/436085-rivatuner-d3doverrider-and-vsynctearing-in-dx10/ http://forum.avsim.net/topic/436796-multi-monitor-question/ Check the screen dimensions within FSX, when you run in DX10 it creates a new entry in fsx.cfg for the Graphics Device. March 23, 201412 yr Author Commercial Member Hi Steve, Just been reading this topic http://forum.avsim.net/topic/386154-dx10-preview-fsx-opens-on-wrong-monitor/ Seems to help with another issue I have of monitors swapping. solution is to always go to windowed mode before exiting FSX. Still need to figure out why My main screen 47' LED will not display in it's correct resolution in full screen. Slowly getting there! Will check the links you posted. Kind regards EDIT - Success I downloaded D3Doverrider to force Vsync & adjusted my display resolution in the FSX.cfg Thanks for your help Steve! Rob Prest
