March 26, 201412 yr I'm trying to install another (a second) copy of FS9 on my hard drive. Using Win8, I havent had too many issues, but when I pop in disc 1, I only have the options to 1. Run FS9 and exit setup, or 2. Uninstall current copy. How/where do you install a second copy? My current one is not in C: but in a folder on my desktop. I need a version without all of the addons for testing and such. Thanks.
March 26, 201412 yr Hi, You must change the name of your current FS9 folder first. Just add Backup or similar to the folder name. Then after you've installed the second copy, just name it back to its original name. BTW, the registry will now point to the location of your second install. If that's not what you want, you will need to rename your original FS9 folder, install the second copy into the *original folder name*, rename this new copy to its final name, and rename the original FS9 folder back to its original name. Hope this helps, Tom Gibson CalClassic Propliner Page
