This would sort of be my first post on this forum, so I'd like to say hey!

 

Anyway, I downloaded some addons from simviation yesterday and they've been bugging me for a while now. 

 

I downloaded the Experimental 777 - 300ER House Livery on Posky's 777. 
upon loading the aircraft I discovered that the buttons are kinda messed up and some of them don't even work. he's a screen. 

 

(Look at the autopilot panel)

 

Also I downloaded the Thomas Ruth A330 - 300. when I loaded it up there is not cockpit at all. just me floating around.. 
I looked at the panels folder, found nothing, added the A321 panel, and it did not work. how do I fix this? 

What VC did you download and install? As I recall Posky aircraft have no panels. There are some out there though. Perhaps someone here will know where you can get them.

I downloaded and tried this 777.  It's the aircraft itself and the panel that the developer made for it.  It looked the same when I went to the VC.  Into the recyle bin with this aircraft!  Plenty more where this came from!

Yeah. I tried almost all Project Opensky 777 and they all have problems. it's either the panels or lights or something. trying to fly this at night is almost impossible because the reflections on the windshield are too bright to see what's in front of you. I've been looking for high quality 777 for days now. can somebody recommend an extremely high quality that's freeware? I would appreciate it. 

And I can't buy the PMDG currently also I have an old system so it's going to lag alot.

I'll do some checking for you.  Since there's nothing in your profile...What version of FSX do you have?  If you don't have Acceleration installed do you have SP1 and SP2 installed.  Most 3rd party aircraft require these SPs.

I have Gold Edition installed Which I believe contains SP1 and SP2.. As well as Deluxe and Acceleration 

All of the POSKY 777s I've seen so far aren't worth a hoot!  May be time to look at another developer.

OK, I do have one 777 that looks real good in the 2D and a very good looking and working VC.  This is in the Flightsim.com Library pia_b777-ap-bgl.zip  This is a very big download but I think it will be worth your time.  Be sure to copy and paste all Effects into your FSX/Effects folder.  Copy the 1 Gauge called Boeing 777-300.gau into your FSX/Gauges folder along with the file called MSVCR.70.dll.  ENJOY!

Which model. 320,330,380 etc? Aerosoft Airbus Extend is as close as you will get but its a 320/321.

That was actually the filename to insert into the filename search box at the Flightsim.com site.  Copy and paste it there. I looked at the AVsim library, but did not see it here.  You will have to log in at Flightsim.com to do the download.

Thanks, downloading that. I tried out 777, the VC is not fully functional, (Like the VNAV buttons or anything is not clickable) and there is only one Livery. 

 

Again, something 99% close to PMDG (as long as it's free). Thanks anyway, it's better than most 777's available.
