We are pleased to announce the reopening of the AVSIM Social Groups. The Social Groups are like clubs for members with specific interests that they would like to share. This is very similar to the Groups on FaceBook, only with significantly more functionality and features for the owners and moderators of the groups. Some examples of groups are aircraft enthusiasts interested in a specific aircraft; a DC-3 as an example. A group which forms a club of flight sim enthusiasts who live in San Diego, or London, as examples. A club for flight sim tweekers and tinkerers. The Groups provide focus to interests that would not normally be found in a public forum. Now you can form a group of interests common to yours. The possibilities are unlimited as to groups that could be created.
