April 14, 201412 yr I think (from memory) you hold down the FORMAT button for a few seconds. (Then adjust range as required).
April 14, 201412 yr Don't hold the FORMAT button as this will bring up the alternate needles; simply press the FORMAT button which switches the navigation display to PLAN view. You move along your route by changing pages on the FMS (you have to be on the FMS Plan page obviously), and change the zoom range in the normal way.
