I am new to AVSIM and need some advise as to what I will need computer-wise to get started. I am 72 years old and I am very enthusiastic about getting started. Can anyone give me some advise as to what I will need to get started?

My observation is that level of investment (time/money) is relatively on par with level of expectations. On a whim, in 2010 I spent $20 on FSX and installed it on my laptop with a joystick. I now have invested $2K+ and countless hours.. Good luck!
