is it worth it?

Recommended Posts

Hi all

well I have a bit of a dilemma on what to do

I currently run an i7 2700k at 4.9ghz and 8gb ram and a gtx580 but I have the chance of a bundle that contains an i7 4930k oc'd to 4.6ghz with 16gb of ram running on an rog extreme 4 mobo

I have a gtx780ti in the pipeline but I am wondering if its worth getting the new cpu and mobo,  my psu should be fine as its a 950w and the tower and cooling are fine even for the new  cpu am I going to see much in the way of performance increase over my current setup

I personally don't think so,won't be a big difference, if any imo.

Even the 780ti will be a very small difference, unless you are planning on running p3d or xplane in the future.
