February 9, 200521 yr >The MP server (and TeamSpeak server if you can do voice) are>both on bn.turbulentsky.com, although you'd have to use the ip>address 24.30.147.25 in flightsim. You can also open up your cfg file and enter in bn.turbulentsky.com in Multiplayer settings. Either one will work.Regards,JoeJOIN The AVSIM RTW RACE FLIGHT TEAM****************Grab My FREEWARE Voice recognition Profiles here:[a href=http://library.avsim.net/esearch.php?CatID=fs2004misc&DLID=58334]Cessna 172 Voice Profile[/a][a href=http://library.avsim.net/esearch.php?CatID=fs2004misc&DLID=60740]FSD Avanti Voice Profile[/a].You will need the main FREEWARE Flight Assistant program to use it, get it here:[a href=http://library.avsim.net/esearch.php?CatID=genutils&DLID=39661]Flight Assistant 2.2[/a] CryptoSonar on Twitch & YouTube.
February 9, 200521 yr You can also browse to http://bn.turbulentsky.com/ to monitor who's currently on the BushNet server along with information about their:Type (Pilot/Observer)Aircraft (from their aircraft.cfg's "title=" entry)AltitudeHeadingSpeedFlightplan (if filed)Location (distance to nearest FS9 airport)Status (Flying, Slew/Pause, Not in Aircraft)Connected (How long each has been so)DelaySim (Which one they're using)One thing we've found about BushNet usage over at BFU is that if you sign on when you fly, others may see you're on and join you (before you know it, you might have a party!) where they might not if the server is unoccupied.Have fun up there,Kevin
February 13, 200521 yr Hi all,Just to echo everyone's sentiment. Over the years the AVSIM team has prided itself on welcoming newcomers and getting everyone involved. So you are warmly encouraged to fly for Team AVSIM this year.If you have any interest, it might be a good idea to take the baton in a practice run in order to familiarize yourself with the timing and procedures. And in practice, we are all pretty tolerant of fumbles and mistakes. No one is watching except your friendly teammates. The actual Race begins next Sunday, February 20th. When things begin to count and the race time pressure mounts and the world-wide audience tunes in...the stakes begin to rise and the real fun begins. ;-) .So we all look forward to your joining us in the relaxed and friendly atmosphere at the [A HREF=http://forums.avsim.net/dcboard.php?az=show_topics&forum=227]AVSIM Race Forum[/A].Best wishes,Mike --Mike MacKuen
