Hi folks,

 

Can anyone explain to me the following, I have both Opus and ASN, the other day I was cursing along at 34k with Opus and the wind was 145/20 so I wanted to know what ASN would show I shut down Opus fired up ASN and the wind was reported at 210/35.

 

Now I understand Opus uses Grib does ASN use this if so why the difference...and who is more accurate..

 

Any experts out there..

No idea but I go to ADDS and check winds aloft forecast to see what's probably more accurate.
