How are the flight dynamics now? I heard stories of it wildly pitching up and down. Is the FMC more fucntional now? I also read that it didn't really support airways/navaids in the US all that much. And one last thing, is there a manual in English? I would really love a quality MD8x add-on.

you want a qaulity MD80 addon...wait for something else...IMO this is really bad.i hate it .even after patch it just feels terrible.feels cheap and nasty.looks cheap and nasty..now please bear in mind i fly the dreamfleet GA727 and PMDG 737.if LAGO want to see how you produce a top qaulity aircraft addon...check these two.this is only my opinion and there are people who like this MD80....but i'm not one of them.. i could kick myself....mugged again steve ps ..lessons have been learnt here

It's not a four star product though -- that's very difficult to achieve. The new updated FDE is great. Previously I had stuttering when pushing back but that issue is totally gone now (so far). It flies w/o bouncing all over the place too and is comparible to the PMDG 737's IMHO. The panel looks cleaner and more readable with the patch and I have no font problem suggested by another simmer. Lago just released an update to the patch and I have installed it but haven't had time to test it yet. Don't know what that fixed. The manual appears to be very thorough but I haven't had a chance to read it page by page yet. It now has a Load Manager too.Hope this helps you.Jim

I've put 8 hours on her since the patch doing 4 different flights. I'm much happier with it now than on it's release day. Everything seemed to work just fine and I even hand flew two of the four landings to see how it handled. I was not disappointed. There is still no STAR or SID support in the FMC for US Airports from what I could see but it does recognize airways and fills in all the intersections for you while building your route. I've yet to see a way to transfer a FS or FSbuild flightplan to the fmc so all plans had to be entered manually. Also.. the Manuals have still not been translated into english so I've just been feeling my way through it. One thing I would add if you plan to buy it. Don't buy it through the Lago site. It takes them forever to send you a serial number so you can install it and Lago support is severly lacking. I'd recommend buying it somewhere else like simmarket.com You will get a MUCH quicker response with the serial number to do the install.Will
