February 11, 200521 yr Commercial Member Way to go Gary posting the exact same flame-bait word-for-word that you did in the other thread! If you actually knew anything about the history of the project, they have ALWAYS been tight lipped about the status even in the original PIC days - this is a better system than sitting there doing something ala CaptainSim by posting shot after shot of something that isn't coming out for 6 months to a year. The LDS site only went up because of people whining in the PIC forum about lack of updates, as if their life and happiness depended on knowing the exact line of code the team was writing at that moment. Now look what happens, people see pics, a couple delays happen (which is inherent to ANY software development process) and now we have the likes of you and other screaming bloody murder yet again over the "bad customer service." Guess what, the plane not out yet - YOU AREN'T A CUSTOMER! Buying previous products does not count when referring to something that hasn't been released.Guess you'll have to boycott Microsoft now for all the delays on Longhorn? I assume we won't be seeing you in a PMDG 744 either? Here's a thought for everyone offended by LDS's lack of info for you - you have the absolute freedom to MAKE YOUR OWN 767 ADDON! Get coding you guys so I can pester you about the release date in 6 months! Ryan MaziarzFor fastest support, please submit a ticket at http://support.precisionmanuals.com
February 11, 200521 yr >>>>>>>>Who cares if the Level D ever releases this program! I wouldn't buy any LDS products if my life depended on it. Guess I spent too much time hanging around the 767PIC Forum watching "outsiders," asking for help just to wind up being made fun of and virtually no support from any of the designers. In addition, the almost cultlike behavior exhibited by the PIC loyal followers along with the programmer's censoring of the forum. . . I'll pass on anything coming from LDS. And to think I buy hundreds and hundreds of dollars worth of simware every year. . .In the meantime. . .I will continue to support the EXCELLENT freeware 767 panel designed by a REAL 757 pilot. . .Lonny Payne.Gary Hawk"HAWKMAN"<<<<<<<<<<
February 11, 200521 yr <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>If you read the follosing thread, and read Wade's reply, you will find out that he has indeed given an update on the status of the LDS767.............http://forums.avsim.net/dcboard.php?az=sho...29320&mode=fullHope that makes you happy and that you can get over your obvious insonmia now.:-roll :-roll I could never understand why people insist that they are entitled to some sort of update on a product that they haven't even PURCHASED yet. Just continuously amazes me.
February 11, 200521 yr Mr. Anthony: The update Mr. Chafe provided, came hours after I posted my original question...!Regards, Marcelo
February 11, 200521 yr Awww come on Anthony, if you don't like what he's doing, ignore him. People thrive on attention, don't give it.and please don't swear in your threads, that lowers yourself as well. You are entitled to your opinion, and all.
February 12, 200521 yr Soooo??What is going on with the LevelD 767??I believe the community would highly appreciate some comments from the team, as how things are now, what to expect (or not expect), in terms of the development stage.(I even believe the "coming soon" logo on their main page, was deleted...what could that mean!?)Comments such as if Beta testing is ready? Or, at release candidate stage now? Etc. Release imminent? Not so soon? Etc.Just a brief comment would be nice, considering many weeks have passed without substiantial news from the team. It is almost mid-February now. Not asking for a release date, but comments and interaction between the potential customers and the developers, would be great.
