My FSX machine finally died so looking to upgrade it. I have read a lot of processor reviews and 4770K seems to be the best choice available but my question is for hard drives how much improved performance using a SSD vs regular HD. My main concern is performance vice price so your inputs are appreciated.

All I can say is once you bog FSX down with addons, a SSD is a really nice thing to have - it's not so much about fps it's about faster loading times - for textures, general loading, etc
