PMDG secret project
+1 for 787...I would love a A320/A330 and A350 done by PMDG as well.

15 degrees nosedive descent to prevent going around, would you call me an idiot or fuel efficient?
Keep the crazy maneuvers in flight sim! In real life you will probably just end up killing yourself and/or others on the ground. I take it you owned the 182, because if it were mine you would not be flying it again. Your instructor should have his certificate pulled if he or she is allowing (and thus teaching you that it is ok) you to do it. Fly into an area of wind shear or clear air turbulence while your doing that foolishness and your dead. Replacing an airplane is much more expensive than the fuel required for a go around. I would find another instructor ASAP!

Drzewiecki Designs - New York Airports X KLGA Extract
I have to agree with the everyone else. I have a very high performance FSX machine and it gets OOM errors without fail at any of the NYC airports included in the scenery package eventually. Great visuals but not stable, very disappointing. I rarely fly to the NYC area but if I do I will re-install FSDT JFK and the other KLGA scenery.

Is PFPX worth the price?
Yes it is.

PMDG B77X & PFPX Fueling Figures
Are you following the step climb in the flight plan? If your altitudes are wrong it will affect your final fuel. Also does your ZFW in PFPX match 777X? As stated previously I find the fuel estimates in PFPX very reliable provided you have the CI, weight correct and you follow the altitudes.

Heavy Aircraft of Choice: PMDG 777 or 747?
I think airline economics have made the 777 in general and the -200/300ER in particular the preferred long haul aircraft for Boeing operators. But my personal preference would be the Queen of the Skies, though I think they will become increasingly scarce at airlines.

PMDG B777 VC cockpit screens freezing
I had the same issue and not sure if it is just an intermittent issue but when I fly from the FO side on -300 I don't have any freezing issues.
-
777-300ER: Aircraft stops responding in mid flight (descent in my case...)
I have had the same issue on every -300 or -200 flight since installing SP1. The simulator continues but the aircraft is unresponsive...always during descent.

Windows 8.1 and PMDG Verdict?
I think it depends on how fast your system is. If you have a fast system it would probably be ok but if you have an average system WIN 7 64 would probably be a better option. Windows 8.1 has a lot of bells and whistles that use a lot of superfluous system resources. Windows 7 64 bit is my preference as I have no issues with any add-on software.

Will you buy the 300?
Yep, I will buy any commercial jet that PMDG makes. Plus a majority of 777 Operators use the 300.

Did you release the flight?

New System Hd Question
My FSX machine finally died so looking to upgrade it. I have read a lot of processor reviews and 4770K seems to be the best choice available but my question is for hard drives how much improved performance using a SSD vs regular HD. My main concern is performance vice price so your inputs are appreciated.
