Hi, was wondering if someone could take a look at this part of my FS9.cfg and suggest how I could modify it to give me a little bit better performance. Increasing the TEXTURE_BANDWIDTH_MULT to say, 300, should give you faster loading textures when you switch screens with little or no performance hit. Good luck!billg

thanks! Most of problem is on the ground, I get around 11-12 fps, in the air I get around 19. This only occurs in large cities. I can fly anywhere in New Zealand and get my locked rate which is 32 and more unlocked, which is real nice, and since the scenery is so nice in some parts of NZ I fly there a lot with my ATR. I used to only fly US, now that I'm used to the systems and stuff in most of my addons, I now fly in other countries.Thanks againJeff USAF

Hi jeffthis is also a preference for me...you may like to have them...i always fly with aircraft shadows switched OFF.you can notice this when landing if you use outside view..also when on ground your AI aircraft also won't have shadows!!but it does make a big difference in FPS.. try it and see what you think.. best wishes steve
