Hey follow VOXATC users, I get fatal errors every now and then.  Not all the time, and I can't seem to find any pattern to them.  Many flights complete with out any problems at all.  Last night I got an fatal error on final into KORF, just before I expected the "cleared to land" from ATC.  I'm running all default voices, no add ons other than megascenery, Cerenado B200.

 

Is there any log somewhere I can look at?  I would like to do some troubleshooting myself before contacting the developer.

 

I'm running 6.2, just noticed 6.34 is out, I'll try that but still wonder about any logs.  Thanks again for any help.

I get them too and logged a ticket with voxatc but have not heard from them either. any clue would be helpful. I get them sometimes on startup with a brief message saying aircraft not recognised, then fatal error.

running indexer again, fixed this problem, sort of; still had to add voxatc lines manually to panel.cfg, as program stalled on panel install part.

Yes...it would be good if some solutions to the various errors were posted on this forum so that we might help each other.  For example:

 

Aircraft exception object reference not set to an instance of object. at com.intworkings.voxatc.PilotState.GetLineUpWithRunwayPosition(Position rwPos, Double rwBearing, Position acPos, Position currentPos, Double& rwAlignError)

 

Now I'm guessing there is a disagreement with my KINL airport BGL file and the Navigraph data for this airport and what VoxAtc is looking for - but nothing jumps out at me when I examine the files - but I'm somewhat of a novice to these files - and other than misnumbered runways (which they aren't - and I've run indexer multiple times) I'm not likely to be able to identify the problem and make appropriate corrections.

That may be the first indication of a problem ..... why you later get errors.

 

Which aircraft and panel are you having problems with?
