Using Orbx Libraries In Instant Scenery Projects

Featured Replies

Succinctly:

Is it possible?

I understand that any scenery designed with those libraries would need to be used on a computer having the same libraries installed, but I'm mainly thinking about personal-use only work and nothing for distribution.

Thanks for any insights and experiences,

-Greg

I've managed in the past to use Orbx stuff over photoscenery. I took the traffic, lights, custom objects, wind turbines and other good stuff from Orbx Ireland by simply placing the relavent files in my photoscenery Scenery and Texture files. I did say that it could be done over on the Orbx forum and nobody blew a fuse so.....

You could probably add those libraries to your placement program of choice I imagine. Worth a try.

Answered my own question by reading the manual (*go figure, right?):

I need to enable the use of Global and Local Add-On Libraries in the Options area to start seeing these libraries. I'll be giving it a shot tonight.
