Unable to connect Squakbox4 from Sim Menu

I can't seem to be able to use the In simulator option to connect to Vatsim via SB4.  If I use the tab button to display menu options at the top of my screen SB4 shows as it should in the "Add-On's" menu option. However selecting it does nothing, in fact selecting it causes the Squakbox option to disappear from the menu option altogether. The only way I have been able to connect to Vatsim via SB4 is to do so from my desktop which basically forces me to fly in windowed mode within the Sim.  Has anyone else experienced this? 

I can't wait for new client software to become available, it's long overdue.

(BTW I'm using P32v2.2 w/flt planner hotfix applied)
