Alternate GPS fs9?

Featured Replies

is it possible to have alternate GPS in place of gps500? I downloaded the garmin CNX80 Simulator, bt this appears to be a WAAS unit and operates in standalone mode. Seems like the ideal gps for fs9, so r there alternatives? Thanx 4 all the excellent work u guys do here to help other newbies like myself. Cheers

There's a bunch! There are some freeware options, and some freeware aircraft have various permutations of different GPS units. Simflyers has an affordable replacement which expands the default unit...The most complicated, definative solutions in my opinion are the gauges by reality-xp - see www.reality-xp.comBest,sg

cheers sg, will check it out.

Another very good option and a 'bit more affordable' is Captain Keith's SimFlyer Products here: http://www.simflyer.net/shop/http://www.simflyer.net/shop/thumbnail-klx135bonus.gifhttp://www.simflyer.net/shop/thumbnail-gns.gifGood luck!Rob "Holland&Holland" de Vries http://www.emotipad.com/emoticons/Flying.gif"To go up, pull the stick back. Hi,depending on what you want to do, there are a few options. SimFlyers expands the default GPS, but is limited by the MS gauge. You can load default flight plans, fly direct-to and fly terminal procedures, but you cannot edit/program a flight plan in flight. With RXP
