Blue Squares

Evening gents,

I wonder if you can shed some light on this matter. I recently re installed FSX and I have been having some Issues. Mainly missing world textures.

First of all my system if below.

Intel i5 4670k 3.8Ghz

Nvidia GTX 770 2GB VRAM (someone mentioned a tweak for graphics cards with a decent amount of VRAM...not too sure?)

8GB Kingston HyperX Beast 2400Mhz RAM

ASUS Z87 Mobo

So I would say it is a fairly decent system and can run fsx well I get decent frames but as of yet I have not used any tweaks on the CFG other than Affinity Mask=14

The addons that I have installed lately and use often that could maybe cause this I don't know?

- REX Essentials HD

- PMDG NGX

- Airbus X Extended

- Aerosoft Barcelona,Faro, Gibraltar X

- Fs DreamTeam's GSX

The scenery is fine when I load up at them and depart but I have experienced the blue squares when on the ILS at Faro...

The Textures for Rex and my aircraft seem to be untouched and ok as seen here

But this is the issue I am finding can anyone offer ideas on what is causing this?

Anyone?

If Affinity Mask=14 is the only change you have made, I would delete FSX.cfg and allow FSX to rebuild it. Then, instead change MaxTextureLoad to 4096 (from 1024) and add HighMemFix=1 to Graphics. Other than that, leave the config file well alone, you PC shound create the correct settings when the fsx.cfg file is rebuilt.

Hope this helps you,

Regards

Gary
