GNS Popup on click not working
I really enjoy the Mindstar GNS and it's been a great addition to P3D. I'm using v2.5 and have added the Mindstar 430 x 2 to the default P3D Alabeo Beech A36. Both GNS work in VS and both GNS work in popup on the 2D panel using Shift-1 and both units work as advertised, but shift-1 is the only way of opening the 2D panel. In the VC the cursor changes to the hand shape when hovering over the panel, but left/right click has no action. I would like to have the option to click on the VC screen to open the 2D panel, but it's not working. Can anyone assist? Panel settings: [Window Titles] Window00=GNS 430 Window01=Toggle_Manual Window02=Toggle_Control Window03=INFO //-------------------------------------------------------- [Window00] Background_color=49,49,49 size_mm=500,532 window_size_ratio=1.000 position=0 visible=0 ident=11013 window_size= 0.320, 0.444 window_pos= 0.020, 0.505 zorder=1 gauge00=MPI_GNS!GNS430, 2,0,500,266, 1:3:11013 gauge01=MPI_GNS!GNS430, 3,266,500,266, 2:4:11013 //-------------------------------------------------------- The VC option works, the 2D option works, but the popup is elusive. Other Installed aircraft allow popup on click, but for some reason the A36 doesn't. Thanks for your help!!!! Gary

Navigraph Extension Pack for the S550 Citation II released!
Mark - Select your destination waypoint on the FPL page and enter your route waypoint in its place. Your destination will reappear underneath once ENTER is pressed. There is no airways functionality (or if there is - its not apparent to me), just add each waypoint one at a time. VNAV is not working as it should - pressing NAV or VNAV just swaps NAV to GPS. Every single waypoint needs an appropriate ALT entered into the FMC (no option to leave this blank and climb to cruise - it's a lot of guesswork). There appears to me to be no option to enter an arrival runway even with the 1503 Navigraph update. Good luck with it Mark.

Navigraph Extension Pack for the S550 Citation II released!
Hi Ryan, yes you can DTO a waypoint in your current plan. If you try to add a waypoint to get a longer run on final, then the whole plan deletes, although the single DTO waypoint works okay. I have managed to get the FPL page to show in flight, but it's still far too buggy. I updated the Navigraph manager and the 1503 upate was loaded, but no runways show for arrival airport - I tried EGCC and EGBB and it's just not working for me. As P3D 2.5 is the current version I'm surprised Carenado released a 2.0 compatible program (if that is the cause - I'm beginning to wonder if it's just a poor release). Nearly forgot - there's no option to add airways routes either. It's getting dangerously close to the 'uninstall a program' button.

Navigraph Extension Pack for the S550 Citation II released!
Hi CAPFlyer - yes you're right - it says 2.0 compatable not 2.5. Always read the small print.... Ah well, back to the hanger with it. I've raised a support ticket with Carenado.

Navigraph Extension Pack for the S550 Citation II released!
I got it - more bugs than I can count. Navigraph doesn't recognise the Carenado Citation, so it doesn't update (yet). Adding a DTO waypoint not in the flight plan will erase your flight plan. The fuel remaining shows a fluctuating total running into 6 figures. The NAV button doesn't show any leg info, it switches the HSI from NAV to GPS. You cannot access your FPL legs in flight, instead you get just a summary page. It's nice to see your flight plan added to the HSI and see traffic displayed, the terrain works, but I was not able to get the Wx displayed but I'm sure I'll be able to work it out. Worth the money? - Well you've bought the Citation already so it's worth the extra, but it's still needing a huge amount of work. No obvious documentation with it, but it installed okay into my P3D v2.5. Gary

Citation II S550 - The (potential) bugs thread
I didn't know there was a click spot for it. I will revisit and attempt to find it. Thanks for letting me know!!

Citation II S550 - The (potential) bugs thread
Can right click spots on the throttles be added to shut the engines down? Autopilot issues as above, however improvement when used with the F1 GTN750 (P3Dv2) as a popup gauge. Unable to select 2 digit NDBs on FMC - when selecting first two letters of ADF ident, the FMC predicts a 5 letter waypoint. Unable to remove the last 3 unwanted letters. I do like the aircraft - I didn't like the price, but I went for it as I'm a Citation fan. Flies well, looks great but needs a lot of work with the FMC functionality.

Missing tool tips
If you're running in DX10 mode tooltips vanish (no idea why). Try DX9 mode and see if that brings them back.

Blue Squares
If Affinity Mask=14 is the only change you have made, I would delete FSX.cfg and allow FSX to rebuild it. Then, instead change MaxTextureLoad to 4096 (from 1024) and add HighMemFix=1 to Graphics. Other than that, leave the config file well alone, you PC shound create the correct settings when the fsx.cfg file is rebuilt. Hope this helps you, Regards Gary

Xtreme Prototypes
Thanks Jesse - the page is there, so yes you are right - however my request was about contacting Xtreme Prototypes and clicking 'send' on the support forum doesn't work, it gives an internal server error. Jesse, when you click the manual link, you can download the Lear manual? It's not working for me, but as you can obviously download it, it must be a browser error at my side. Thanks for trying it - much appreciated

Xtreme Prototypes
Does anyone know how to contact Xtreme Prototypes? I have their Learjet and I have a couple of questions regarding it. The website forms for support all give an Internal Error page when submitted, the Lear 20 link to get the aircraft manual is also dead. Are they still in operation? No e-mail address is available either. Thanks

737NGX HUD and Triple monitor surround view
Already switched off - no difference, but thanks for the suggestion.

737NGX HUD and Triple monitor surround view
I have no sucess either with 3 monitor setup and DX10 - spinning mouse, eventual OOM, and unswitchable knobs/switches - Win7-64 and GTX680 graphics. 737NGX is now unusable so I hope someone can fix it. I'm not using Ezdok. Gary

737 NGX click problems
Hi I an running the 737 NGX on FSX with DX10 on a triple screen setup via the NVidia GTX 680 graphics card. Issues are: Hand click spot will increase knob settings with a mouse right click (menu appears - then click again to increase value) Hand click spot will not decrease values. (Mousewheel, left click or right click) With 3 monitors only the RH monitor wil allow click spots from mouse (middle and LH monitor will not accept mouse clicks) Out of memory errors every flight (16 Gb RAM - Win7-64 - Intel i7-3770K CPU @3.50 GHz - 240GB SSD - nVidia 4096Mb Graphics card. Assuming some sort of DX10 error I installed the 737 on P3D (DX9) but same issues persist. Currently am unable to use the product - any ideas? Merry Xmas everyone! Gary 737 was okay on my old W7-64 computer, but unusable on this new PC

(SOLVED) Activesky Evolution wont connect
ggi replied to eleVAted's topic in The AS16 and ASCA | Active Sky | Active Sky Next | XPAX Support ForumSame as Chris, also in the UK - Unable to connect to either Primary or Secondary servers. Glad the forum is here to confirm it's not just my computer! Guess we just need to let the tech people work on it, and knowing the excellent support we always get, I'm sure it won't take too long. Shame 'tho as the weather here in the UK is really perfect for some IMC work.

Fuselage says "Mirage"
And of course there is the real Mirage - Dassault Mirage which also has a 172kt limitation....in this aircraft it's the stall speed. haha

Fuselage says "Mirage"
The model is called a Piper Malibu Mirage.

Carenado JetProp is on their products page with a "Buy Now" button
Someone asked earlier why there are 2 transponders? In real life it's to avoid being grounded when one fails. I've seen a lot of aircraft of this class with 2 fitted, however only one is used at a time normally. I assume the radio fit of the model they copied had 2 fitted - and yes a DME would definitely be a preferable option for FSX purposes.Gary
