737 NGX click problems

Featured Replies

Hi I an running the 737 NGX on FSX with DX10 on a triple screen setup via the NVidia GTX 680 graphics card.

Issues are:

Hand click spot will increase knob settings with a mouse right click (menu appears - then click again to increase value)

Hand click spot will not decrease values. (Mousewheel, left click or right click)

With 3 monitors only the RH monitor wil allow click spots from mouse (middle and LH monitor will not accept mouse clicks)

Out of memory errors every flight (16 Gb RAM - Win7-64 - Intel i7-3770K CPU @3.50 GHz - 240GB SSD - nVidia 4096Mb Graphics card.

Assuming some sort of DX10 error I installed the 737 on P3D (DX9) but same issues persist.

Currently am unable to use the product - any ideas?

Merry Xmas everyone!

Gary

737 was okay on my old W7-64 computer, but unusable on this new PC

I think you have OOM problems becouse of resolution or/and multiple monitors. Use this guide for all fsx settings: http://#####.wordpress.com/fsx-software-and-hardware-guide/

If you still have problems after that(i didn't use more then 1 monitor), ask for help here: http://forum.avsim.net/forum/327-monitors-video-cards-and-drivers/

About NGX, i'm not sure that i understand the problem. If you are sure that you're using knobs in the right way(you said that NGX has worked on old system), try to reinstal NGX

As for the out of memory problems, I think your 4096 MB graphics card is to blame. I'm not an expert on the subject, but a quick google search should show you why graphics card with so much vram give OOM's in FSX.
