April 30, 201412 yr I have FSX and RC installed and it is working ok. I realize that there are SP1 and SP2 for FSX that I haven't installed. If I install the SP's, do I have to re-install RC to work properly ?
April 30, 201412 yr Make sure you update fsuipc4 full and interim versions as needed from: http://forum.simflight.com/topic/66139-updated-modules/ Update makerwys.exe from: http://forum.simflight.com/topic/66136-useful-additional-programs/ (and then run the scenery rebuild in RC) As long as you keep FSX in the same path folder you should be OK. For a safety measure make a safe copy of rcv3.dat and keyboard.dat in a folder outside of RC and FSX. RC might come up with a different FSX path without error but do not load a plan into it or start it until you reset the flt/wx paths in it and the FSX path. I assume you will store plans and flt.wxr in the same user location so RC should come up OK adjusting for the FSX path if needed. If the SP1 and SP2 patches are applied in the existing FSX folder RC itself should not be affected other than updating fsuipc and makerws.
May 1, 201412 yr Author Thanks, Ronzie I assume the same advice would be true if I install FS Acceleration ? I found out that that includes the two SP for FSX
