May 5, 201412 yr Commercial Member Really it is a great Bird but I would like to see Weather Radar and several another issues fixed in mine....... There's no weather radar to "fix," firstly. It's been stated that this will be added. The fact that you said "forget it" earlier either points to the fact that you haven't been paying attention, or you're willfully ignoring a fact simply to stay upset. In psych, we call this a martyr complex. As far as the "several other issues" go, what are they? ...and if they're so bothersome to you, have you reported them to PMDG so that they may be fixed? Sorry but "out of context" is your comment regarding MY OPINION. ...which means he has an opinion about your opinion. If you assert that your opinion is valid as an opinion, is his not valid as an opinion as well? If you don't agree with it, just as he doesn't agree with yours, feel free to debate it, but there's no need to get upset about it (the "sorry" and the all-CAPS "MY OPINION" definitely point to emotion behind the words). Sorry for caps and thank you for help me remember all that it was my opinion. I belive that it is not out of context because there are several posts regarding SP2 into comunity.... As example: http://forum.avsim.net/topic/438461-pmdg-737-sp2/?hl=%2Bsp2#entry2959014 http://forum.avsim.net/topic/419249-question-to-pmdg-about-ngx-service-pack-2/page-2?hl=%2Bsp2+%2Bngx#entry2922525 I do not have any problem with my NGX. I have flown it a lot and only would like to see it close of reality. Btw As I told in my first post I do not expect any SP2 from PMDG guys! I hope to be wrong but after 2 years...It will be a great surprise. Have a nice day for all! May 5, 201412 yr Commercial Member Btw As I told in my first post I do not expect any SP2 from PMDG guys! Right, but as I said in my last post, you're willfully ignoring the message from PMDG - directly - that it will be getting one. You seem to be basing your opinion solely on the fact that it's been two years. Your logic is essentially "if they haven't updated it 2 years after release, then they won't be updating it ever." As I mentioned, though, your logic is seriously flawed because SP2 is meant to incorporate the updates/enhancements of the 777. You need to have a 777 in order to give its enhancements back to the NGX. Furthermore, you have to have a stable 777 before you're going to want to send any of that code back to the NGX (otherwise, you just create more problems by sending unstable code back into another product). So, the amount of time is irrelevant. It's more related to the fact of whenever the 777 SP1 comes out, they can start migrating the changes back. Without a 777, they couldn't have done this. Now that they've completed it, and are close to having the code cleaned up, they can begin to push things back to the NGX. It really shouldn't be that hard to understand. Also, since neither of your links included official references (only to confused forum members - most likely because they didn't effectively use the search function effectively, either), I'll give you this - straight from RSR, himself: PMDG 737NG Future Development (SP2, ERs, Mils, etc)=============================================I have mentioned a couple of times- but I'll say again here just for clarity that the next update to the NGX product line will take place after the 777 release. This will allow us to unify some changes to the operation of products as we refine some technologies currently inside both the NGX and the 777.We are currently working to expand the SDK capabilities in the 777 based upon feedback we have gotten from a number of hardware developers. The improved functionality that results will be folded into the NGX through an update to that product after the 777 development is completed. And... Yes! The NGX code base has taken about 50 or so updates of various kinds during the 777 development. Many of them have been related to little issues we corrected in the SDK, some behaviors we discovered needed adjusting, and that sort of thing. In fact- I just updated the NGX to eliminate that little animation "jump" that some users see on the external model when deploying flaps from 10-15 or wherever it was... (I forget already. LOL) I was never able to duplicate these reports, but it was present in the 777 so I was able to find and eliminate the cause on both platforms... Opinions are all well and good, but I could have an opinion that the sky at mid-day looks lime green. Evidence to the contrary doesn't make that opinion very valid, and if I continued to assert it, people would simply assume I'm living in a dream land... Kyle Rodgers

I had missed this. This is some light at the end of the tunnel. Lets wait Flying!
