May 24, 201412 yr Hello I have a problem to load the engine on prepar3d. I have instaled alread the opus 3.10 fo the FSX, without problems. For the p3d i have this problem. How can solve it?
May 24, 201412 yr Commercial Member Looks like you haven't changed the settings in the FSXSERVER's Configure dialog. You must open the Configure dialog, select the Prepar3D simulator type and identify the location of your P3D install folder. You should also make sure you have set sharing and permissions on your P3D install folder so that the FSXSERVER program can copy the WTB theme file to the P3D Weather\theme folder. Also note, once you have identified both your FSX and P3D install folders you can simply create separate FSXSERVER desktop icons and use the FSX and P3D program arguments to run your preferred simulator type. For example, FSXSERVER FSX ... will run FSXSERVER and select the FSX simulator type. FSXSERVER P3D ... will run FSXSERVER and select the Prepar3D simulator type. Let me know if you need any further assistance. Stephen :-)
June 16, 201411 yr Hello Stephen, can opus also run on a single P3D V2.2 installation without FSX or only with the connection to a FSX installation? Grüße / Greetings aus / from Hamburg (the most beautiful city in the world) Manfred
June 17, 201411 yr Commercial Member Yes, OpusFSX works fine with a P3D installation, you may just need to install SimConect since P3D doesn't always install it automatically. You will find a copy of SimConnect.msi in the OpusFSX folder. Cheryl Can't load weather theme error message Your error message could also be that you are loading a saved flight which is refering to a non-existant static theme. Click OK to that sim error message, update the weather once more, then resave your flight.
