FSX Crash with new repaints

Featured Replies

I've recently repainted an Extra 300 aircraft into RAF Colours on FSX, but when I click on the plane to load it, FSX crashes, any idea why it does this? Every other aircraft works fine, renamed the repaint, done all that I need too, just doesn't seem to work! It also happens if I click details when selecting the aircraft. If anyone can help it would be much appreciated!

Make sure the repaint has an alpha-channel associated with it. The alpha-channel gives the aircraft its reflectivity. It is included with the bmp's associated with the repaint. If you did this, then you might check in our Painter's Forum and ask the experts there.

Cheers for the reply. I did indeed import the alpha-channel from the original. I tried it with another aircraft to make sure, but the same thing happens. I will take a look at this part of the forum, I'm not to this, so still getting to learn about it!

Cheers
