February 26, 200521 yr HiI got a problem with FS 2004. All the addon aircraft's textures would not load only the deafault fs2004 aircrafts. Here is an example of a dc-9-32:[/url]I didn't have the problem before... Could it be the new catalyst drivers?I have a Radeon 9800pro (Catalyst 5.2 installed)
February 26, 200521 yr i doubt its the catalyst drivers. Reinstall the plane. Make shure it has all the textures loaded. Download another dc9 and try it out. I have had that problem before. Sometimes its just a fault in the textures.:-wavelet me know how it goes Chase Barnett
February 26, 200521 yr One cause for this is setting your system properties performance to be optimized for "background services" versus "applications". This cuts off AGP use of memory as a texture buffer and will cause your problem. I use Win2000, so I don't know what the tab is in XP. The registry location is:Registry Settings System Key: [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESYSTEMCurrentControlSetControl Session ManagerMemory Management]Value Name: LargeSystemCacheData Type: REG_DWORD (DWORD Value)Value Data: "0" for Desktops; "1" for Servers You should use "0" for destops. If you are not savvy re regedit, find the dialogue in XP that sets this. You want to optimized for applications.Noel Noel System: 9900X3D Noctua NH-D15 G2, MSI Pro 650-P WiFi, G.SKILL 64GB (2 x 32GB) 288-Pin PC RAM DDR5 6000, WD NVMe 2Tb x 1, Sabrent NVMe 2Tb x 1, RTX 4090 FE, Corsair RM1000W PSU, Win11 Home, LG Ultra Curved Gsync Ultimate 3440x1440, Phanteks Enthoo Pro Case, TCA Boeing Edition Yoke & TQ, Cessna Trim Wheel, RTSS Framerate Limiter w/ Front Edge Sync.
