PFPX on a second computer

Featured Replies

Hi !

I'm buying pfpx, and was wondering if i need to have fsx and pfpx on the same computer? Or can i just have it on my laptop, make a route, save it and use a memory stick to transfer it into the main computer? I know i can just use same pc, but i would like to use my laptop to save space, an decrease the working load... and its more simple then sitting in front of the main computer all the time planing a route..

excuse my english.. From Norway...

PFPX does not need to be on the same computer as FSX.  I have it running on a second computer.  I export my flight plans to a local directory there and then copy them from my FSX computer via a simple script I wrote.  Anyway, you can definitely do what you're trying to do.

You can install PFPX on up to 5 devices, but you can only use it on one device at a time.
