Opus FX and Track IR.

Featured Replies

I am using OpusFX v3.49.1 beta and have just fitted a new Track IR.

I have an issue with my opus views when using it.

When I move my head and although the view moves as it should, there is a stutter. I have tried ticking and un-ticking the Track IR high priority box but it seems to make no difference.

This only happens when I use Opus FX

Can you advise what I should do to improve the Track IR / Opus performance?

Thanks

Have you read the Opus manual on how to configure it with TrackIR? Basically you have to disable the native FSX/simconnect between TrackIR and FSX by renaming a couple of files in the TrackIR folder.

Thanks Henry.

See the Getting Started guide on how to set up your TrackIR interface, rename the TIR manifest files etc.

You can also see our SimForums post on TrackIR,

http://www.simforums.com/Forums/trackir-settings_topic43026.html

That topic covers just about all you need to know and do. Let us know if you still have problems but its really just a case of preventing TIR from connecting directly to the sim and then ending up with two program's both trying to adjust the single eye point, hence, stutters.

Stephen :-)
