wilco airbus A340 problem : I have planned the flight by using the fmcg but after take off, when I am switching the HDG button to the "management" mode, the aircraft stops following the planned route.

 

I am new to airbus. in boeing 737 NGX, I simply click the LNAV button and the aircraft follows the planned route.

 

Please Help !

Is your flight director on?

Is the FMC completely programmed?

Did you push or pull the Button?

When an Airbus should follow the planned route, you have to push the HDG Button.
