I am installing ftx global for fsx on my system. In the readme file net.framework4.0 is required to be installed prior to ftx global. My system has net.framework4.5.  Is 4.5  ok?  Thinking that it should be an upgrade I went ahead and ran the installation wizard. When fsx runs it look like it always has , no difference in scenery. 

Did you enable it in the ftx central program not sure if it makes a desktop shortcut - might have to make one

 

I would think with the newer framework you would be fine
