Help on EXT/AC

Recommended Posts

Hey just need a bit of help on EXT/AC

If i select this and prior to the start procedure i get the FO to turn on the APU now i want to disconnect the EXT/AC but what is the command? If i contact ground and say blah blah you can disconnect the external air and gpu now! But then ground thinks am ready for engine 2 start but am not i only want to disconnect it. Will i need to do it manually and not contact the ground?

Also i don't get this why up date it to APU?

I haven't been updating it to the APU don't see the difference can someone explain please?

Note: If want to use the APU for engine start, you will need to manually start the APU prior to Engine start and turn on the APU Bleed before commencing the engine start sequence. You will also need to confirm on the FS2Crew Config Panel that the Ground Power/Air option has automatically updated to ‘APU’ (the APU bleed switch is the trigger for this to occur. Time remaining to engine start must also be less than 25 minutes). If it remains on EXT, the FS2Crew FO will think you’re still using External Power/Air and perform his actions accordingly.

Hi, i have read the manuals bryan but i don't see anything to do with the AIR CON its just for EXT/AIR procedure.

Everytime i use the EXT/AC and tell the ground crew to, you can disconnect the external air and GPU now. The ground crew reply you are cleared to start engine number 2. but i only want to disconnect it.

Can you shed some light on this please.

Yeh thats right. I like to do it before my start procedure?

It mentions this -

If it remains on EXT, the FS2Crew FO will think you’re still using External Power/Air and perform his actions accordingly.

What actions accordinly does this mean?

Any fixes to get around this bryan? In the mean time i will do this, or you could just ask for PB or engine start and they disconnect it anyway.
