July 9, 201411 yr I have mine attached to the top of my headset, with tape, also. That method also prevents you from answering the door with a ball cap on and the wierd antenna-looking device clipped to the visor Paul The first or second evening I was playing with my new TR5 I was using the hat clip and my wife stuck her head in my simulator room and said stop what you are doing, we are going out for dinner in 5 minutes. I paused everything, went to my closet, changed my shirt and went to dinner wearing my ball cap. When I came back and picked up where I left off, the hat clip was not to be found. No place. I looked and looked and finally googled 'lost hat clip' and was somewhat relieved to see that I was not the first person to lose one. I kept thinking I should go back and retrace my steps but it was really late by now and I decided I would bite the bullet and order a new one the next morning. When I started to bed around midnight I was in the bathroom and looked over into my closet and saw something really odd on the floor. Yep, the hat clip reflector was catching the light just perfectly to get my attention. Stranger than fiction. I switched to the Pro Clip the next day anyway but, I sure felt dumb.
