July 7, 201411 yr I have installed in P3D 2.2 FTX Global, Vector and 3 North American Regions...In FTX Central, is it still necessary to select an Orbx Region if I'm in (or using) FTX Global? Thought I read someplace it was not necessary when using Global...thanks, John H.
July 7, 201411 yr hello, It all depends on what you want to do. If you intend to stay within the boundaries if an ORBX region (PNW) ,then you can still select North America in FTX Central. However, If you want to travel from, let's say Seattle to Chicaogo, and by doing so crossing the boundaries of ORBX regions, you better select Global in FTX Central. You can tick the box at the right hand side (I can't remember the label). By doing so, you are telling FTX Global to use (some) scenery of the regions you are crossing and, when outside the regions you will get full coverage of t-ftx Global. If you only select Global, the software will ignore all of the beauty that the different regions recreate. Luc Brusselmans Belgium
July 9, 201411 yr Author Hi Luc....reading on-line, I found that if you like Global and have Orbx regionals and want to take advantage of both, you need to check the "Hybrid" box in FTX Central...John H.
