July 8, 201411 yr I've tried nVidia inspector settings set to vsync standard and adaptive at half refresh, and I have the two force vsync lines in my fsx.cfg, I've tried limiting the FPS to 30 in both the inspector and or in FSX, nothing will stop the screen tearing. I notice that most of the time the FPS is 29. something not 30 which is probably the cause of this, but that is odd when if I unlock the fps it is well above that. Anyone know what's going on and how to fix this? AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGHN we're down.
July 8, 201411 yr Are you flying with FSX in full screen mode? or Windowed.. 29 vs 30 is not the problem.. Bert
July 9, 201411 yr Author Fullscreen, same result in windowed too though, not that I'd want to run it that way. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGHN we're down.
July 9, 201411 yr have the two force vsync lines in my fsx.cfg, I assume you are using the latest version of NI to set Vsync? Do not use the lines in the FSX cfg, remove them. No longer required. Also make sure you have [Main] User Objects=Airplane, Helicopter SimObjectPaths.0=SimObjects\Airplanes SimObjectPaths.1=SimObjects\Rotorcraft SimObjectPaths.2=SimObjects\GroundVehicles SimObjectPaths.3=SimObjects\Boats SimObjectPaths.4=SimObjects\Animals SimObjectPaths.5=SimObjects\Misc SimObjectPaths.6=SimObjects\UT2 Aircraft SimObjectPaths.7=MyTraffic\Aircraft ProcSpeed=19332 PerfBucket=7 FIBER_FRAME_TIME_FRACTION=0.15 HideMenuNormal=0 HideMenuFullscreen=1 HideInfoText=1 DisablePreload=1>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>this Maximized=1 System: MSFS2024, ASUS Rog Stryx Z790-A, Intel i9-14900KF, Asus ROG Ryujin III 360 , Asus Hyperion Case,Rog Stryx 4090 OC, Samsung 970 EVO M.2 SSD, 1Tb Samsung 860 EVO SSD,64Gb G Skill Memory, Asus Aura 1200W Gold PSU,Win 11 ,LG C4 48" 4K OLED Screen., Airbus TCA Full Kit, Stream Deck XL. July 9, 201411 yr Author Still tearing, changed NI vsync to standard again, it worked, so no force vsync lines in cfg combined with Standard half refresh is the combination, thanks guys. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGHN we're down.
