July 13, 201411 yr I just did two partial flights with the Dash, one @KSEA and one in rural NC. The flight in Seattle was frames unlimited and sync with sim un-checked. In NC, frames set to 30 with sync enabled. Both scenarios produced violent shaking by the scenery and or aircraft. The whole scenery/earth would tilt/shake violently, appeared to jump. This happened in P3D 1.4. No other aircraft produces this on my system. This was far, far beyond some turbulence or instability by not having trimmed the rudder. Is this known to the community? My thoughts are that I'll have to wait for a V2 installer, and of course, get V2! James McLees
July 14, 201411 yr Was this in the vc or external views? In the outside view, change the view to 'locked spot' if it isn't already by default. cheers, Jazz.
July 15, 201411 yr Author This happened in the VC. I was not running in legacy mode. I read in another forum that mentioned using legacy mode with the Dash in P3D helped with similar problems. I'm going to give that a try with a fresh install. If that doesn't work, I'll just wait for a V2 installer and make my upgrade to that platform when either Majestic or PMDG release a V2 aircraft. Silver lining, something to look forward to! James McLees
July 15, 201411 yr When you do make the transition, you shouldn't have any issues using the Q400 with P3dv2. You just have to point the current installer to your P3d install path. No need for EMT or any of that stuff. I have been flying the Q400, almost exclusively in v2 since December, with no major issues. The new lighting, shadows, etc., makes for an incredible flying experience. cheers, Jazz
July 16, 201411 yr Author A reinstall and start up of P3D in Legacy mode has as far as I can tell, solved the issue. The Dash flies perfectly, just waiting on the Pro version now. B) James McLees
July 16, 201411 yr Glad to hear you got it working. +1 on the Pro edition, I'm interested in the shared cockpit. Ground breaking tech. cheers, Jazz
