Fsx Control Settings & 777 Sp1

Featured Replies

With the revised implementation of FBW in 777 SP1 and the null zone settings that are made through the FMC/MENU/PMDG pages, what are the proper FSX Control sensitivities and null zone settings?

I have my sensitivities set to max (127); however, I have a null zone setting of 5.  I noticed that the controls are delayed with this null zone setting.  It made me consider whether the FSX null settings were interfering with the PMDG joystick FBW null zone options set with the CTL COUMN NULL ZONE and CTL WHEEL NULL ZONE options.

What should the FSX control sensitivity and null zone settings be to work correctly with the new FBW implementation?

Thanks!

Hi,

that actually depends on the software(nad by software i mean...your controllers)it is all hit and run as far sa your control settings go.Null zone mean..nulling  ..so that makes your controllers are less responsive.

Read up..there is a good manual written about the FBW..by a boeing pilots...i can't seem to remember the name..will check.

as each controller is different, settings would also be different. So more or less it is trial and error.

Find out what makes your simming realistic. Also do read the intro. manual provided by pmdg.

hope this helps,

warm regards
