July 31, 201411 yr Hey,I decided to Use ENB,but when I installed it the sim looks blurry, too much compared to the video, btw i'm sing shade preset from SirFlight, here some examples: https://www.dropbox.com/s/1i7j7cqi4v5kq7y/Capture%20d%E2%80%99%C3%A9cran%20%2811%29.pnghttps://www.dropbox.com/s/31y0dkdor4231a7/Capture%20d%E2%80%99%C3%A9cran%20%2810%29.pnghttps://www.dropbox.com/s/vuzaawlzkq2yw2b/Capture%20d%E2%80%99%C3%A9cran%20%2812%29.pnghttps://www.dropbox.com/s/0z36a6prrvynq9t/Capture%20d%E2%80%99%C3%A9cran%20%2813%29.pnghttps://www.dropbox.com/s/65pdzmim9tqopcq/Capture%20d%E2%80%99%C3%A9cran%20%2814%29.png (this picture is without ENB,so just with shade)-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Maybe that you can't really see the difference but it is anoying! Does anyone of you know how to fix that?Best regards,
July 31, 201411 yr Are you using DX10? Philip LaBianca _____________________ "I think, therefore I am."
August 1, 201411 yr As far as i know, ENB and Shade don't mix well with DX10. I've heard a lot of people experiencing problems using ENB with DX10. The best work around would be putting it back to DX9 :( Philip LaBianca _____________________ "I think, therefore I am."
August 1, 201411 yr Author Yup and that is what I did,but what do they mean with midmap? --> http://forum.avsim.net/topic/340351-enb-series-problem-blurriness/
August 1, 201411 yr *mipmap Have you ever played Minecraft? When you have mipmaps on, the textures at a distance will basically become more blurry. Have them off and they'll be crisper. Here's a Wikipedia explanation: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mipmap I'm not so sure how that translates to FSX. The last time I used an ENB was with FS9. I know it sounds weird, but that's what the ENB is supposed to do. You might be able to minimize the blurriness using your graphics card's software and boosting anti-aliasing. Do you use an AMD or Nvidia graphics card? Philip LaBianca _____________________ "I think, therefore I am."
August 1, 201411 yr Author Yes I understand now because they speak over that for fsx, i'm using Nvidia inspector (GTX 660) and yeah,i think that the problem comes beacause maybe the settings of Nvidia inspector Doesn't match with ENB? I'm not a professional in that. Thanks,
August 1, 201411 yr I'm pretty sure that ENB "softens" things up versus SweetFX which can sharpen. Every ENB mod I've used with and without DX10 enabled always had some degree of image smoothing to it.
August 1, 201411 yr Author Yes, I use by the same time SweetFX so when i disable ENB i got a nice sharp textures…maybe a little too sharp but that can bee modified.
