August 1, 201411 yr I am currently trying out the VoxATC demo. Thing is, it spawns default AI aircraft everywhere and this is eating a LOT of fps. I do have WOAI installed and already tried removing, renaming etc. the trafficAircraft.bgl but default AI still shows up. How do I get rid of it completely?
August 1, 201411 yr There is a VOX dedicated forum here so I think this will move. Any chance you have the traffic slider on anything but 0 inside FSX? That should be zero. Also, did you re-run the VOX indexer after you renamed the traffic file? Last - check this link - http://forum.avsim.net/topic/368096-deafult-ai-showing/?hl=+deafult
August 1, 201411 yr Don't know how VoxAtC interacts with the AI traffic, or if it actually spawns planes that wouldn't otherwise be there, but you can go to Scenery/World/Scenery and rename TrafficAircraft.bgl to TrafficAircraft.bgl.passive (some 3rd party AI programs such as Mytraffic do exactly that to disable the default traffic).

Sorry if I posted this thread in the wrong forum, I thought it was more of an FSX issue.
August 2, 201411 yr Author Enjoying it right now ^_^ did both tutorial flights (they are somewhat boring imo), vfr and ifr. I had to turn AI traffic down to 30% in VOX to maintain good fps but even at that setting there's more traffic than in FSX at 50% at OMDB every single gate is populated with AC lol
