I will start FSX, everything will load like normal, except after the countdown the aircraft acts like I am at half throttle, yet my throttle is not moved forward at all, I did read you shouldn't switch between custom aircraft and a PMDG aircraft but I only did that once that shouldn't affect every time I try to fly it since?

Sounds like a panel state has your thrust set higher, Try recreating a panel state with the thrust levers in idle.
