August 21, 201411 yr Just a heads up if you have fsinn installed this can happen, I have posted this before(i do not take credit for the solution) but you need to go into your fscopilot settings and disable the Tuner option, close fsx, (it may crash one more time) but after that you will be fine.
August 21, 201411 yr Author Ah, good! Now I just have to dodge the CTD from opening the menu! And that one can be stopped by dropping the Uiautomationcore.dll in your FSX folder. There are a few version of this.dll You need to try which one works for you. Rob Robson

In my lifetime I have reinstalled FSX several times, and each time I (unintentionally) use different version of the dll... kinda like switching ignition for each flight in the NGX I guess... I've lost track of which version I use now :ph34r:
