Idealflight planner rules

Guys not sure if this is common knowledge but I have not found one planner that takes all the work and guess work out of making a no fuss flight plan well IF does and it does it very well - this is an imported flight plan into Plan-g to check it - if you find flight planning hit or miss look no further - oh and does a ton of other stuff but this alone is worth every penny - export formats

Yeah, such a powerful program this is. Love how it allows you to only create flight plans with your payware airports if you so desire.

Yes it is and we should be seeing final version soon - great stuff  :yahoo:

I'm another very happy user of IF10. I would not want to miss its capability to create a random flight based on parameters from where you last landed - and that's just one of the many features. I also love the random failures which it can create.

But best of all, and the most useful IMO, is the flight briefing which it compiles automatically. It lists everything from the planned route to aircraft weight, comm and nav frequencies, alternate airports and whatnot. I've uploaded an example briefing file some time ago here. (The formatting is a bit off due to the PDF conversion)

IF10 has its quirks and it's too expensive in my opinion (since there's the base program and the "augmented" addon) but if you can find it at a discounted price it's an excellent flight planning software.

Glad to hear your enjoying it - its very unique - are you using latest beta - has more features - as for price I would buy it in a second again when P3D version is out - nothing does what it does
