March 27, 200521 yr At 2.00am UTC/GMT today Europe changed it's time to Summer Time (or DST as called in US). In other words the UK is now 1 hour ahead of UTC and most of the rest of Europe. is 2 hours ahead.Problem is my default flight which is set in the UK still shows British Time as equal to UTC. I have searched on FS forums and the advice seems to be to resave your default flight but that does not correct it. I have Real Time but that does not show the 1 hour ahead either.Any ideas as to how to solve problem?
March 28, 200521 yr Since FS2004 saves also the time and the exact date together with the flight you save, the date and time also of your default flight will not change. An exeption to this is the MS default start up flight at KSEA. So what to do If you would like to have day the light saving time in your default flight?Load your default flight, got to world/time & season, change the date to any date within the daylight saving time and save the flight with the option "Make this the default flight" checked.Wolfgang
March 28, 200521 yr Hi Albion,Timezones in FS have been notoriously wrong since the last version of FS. Do a search for Dennis Thompson in the files for his Timezone 3.0 files that fix the bgl files that control the timezones around the world.Alternatively, I use FS Realtime to keep FS's time in sync since the program runs slow compared to real time. It has Dennis Thompson's bgl packs included.Hope this helps! Devin CYOW
March 28, 200521 yr Thanks Guys. In the end I reinstalled Real Time and Dennis Thompson's Timezone and that solved the problem. Thanks again
