How to adjust head pan speed in VC?

Recommended Posts

I've been playing around with the IRIS T-6 Texan II lately and the head pan rate is waaaaay toooo sloooow.   How can I adjust it to something more fluid?

I was just playing around in my Iris T-6.  I assume you are describing head movement in

the cockpit using the spacebar+mouse and not something like TrackIR.  Mine seemed

very smooth considering I have a 2 GZ. processor and had a download going at the

same time.

I don't have that aircraft, but I've had the problem in others.  I'm guessing you mean how fast the view pans when you use the hat switch.

Here are the changes to the config file for each camera that needed a fix from one such aircraft.  Your original values will be different.

PitchPanRate=30             // was 20
HeadingPanRate=75           // was 60
PanAcceleratorTime=0        // new line, speeds up panning
